Riccardo Gnudi (f. 1986) var organist i Pisas Domkyrka (med sitt lutande torn) och i S.Stefano dei Cavalieri kyrka innan han flyttade till Göteborg. Han innehar fyra orgeldiplom från the Royal College of Organists i London (ARCO), "Luigi Cherubini" Conservatoire of Music i Florens (BMus Hons), the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music i Vatikan-Rom (PgD) och Högskolan för Scen och Musik i Göteborg (MFA). Han komponerar och publicerar även egen musik för bl.a. kör och orgel. Han har spelat många konserter som solist bl.a. i Italien, Frankrike, Storbritannien, Tyskland, Belgien, Luxembourg, Polen, Danmark och Sverige. Han har jobbat som deltid vikarie organist i Tuve-Säve församling och i Kristus Konungens katolska församling. Han har ofta vikarierat som organist i stadens olika församlingar. Riccardo är Karlskoga församlings organisten.

Born in Pisa in 1986, Riccardo Gnudi is a graduate from the "L. Cherubini" Conservatoire of Florence, where he has studied Organ and Organ Composition with M° Giovanni Clavorà Braulin. He has also studied piano, harpsichord, harmony, counterpoint, fugue, vocal composition, theory and history. He holds the Post-gradum Diploma in Organ from the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome with M° Roberto Marini.
He is an Associate of the Royal College of Organists.
He has attended masterclasses with well-known organists such as J. Scott, S. Landale, D. Goode, J. Parsons, G. Brooks, F. Blanc, L. Lohmann, N. Laube, J. Verdin, D. Roth, W. Capek, H. Vogel and H. Fagius in Florence, Rome, Pisa, Paris, Göteborg, London and Oxford. In August 2012 he has been awarded a bursary by the Cambridge Academy of Organ Studies to attend a masterclass on English repertoire with D. Ponsford, J. Parsons, A. Page and P. Dubois.
He has collaborated with T. Flury OSB and other gregorian specialists at Einsiedeln Abbey, Switzerland, to the organ accompaniment "Gregoriano Simplex", published in volumes from September 2008.
His music has been published by Edizioni Il Campano, Pisa, and have received many positive comments in Italy and abroad and some of his works have been performed in USA, UK, Germany, Sweden and Denmark. He has composed choral music for many choirs around Europe; the South Denmark Girls' Choir (DK), Vocapella Colonia (D), Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses (PL). He is "Haus- und Hofkomponist" to the Vocapella Colonia Choir from Köln, Germany. He has published a book about the Grand Organ of the National Church of S.Stefano dei Cavalieri, Pisa, in occasion of the 100° anniversary celebration from its rebuilding (1914-2014).
As accompanist at the organ he has played major works by F. Liszt, J.S. Bach, F.J. Haydn, K. Jenkins, M. Duruflé, G. Fauré, D. Buxtehude, W.A. Mozart, A. Dvorak, L. Perosi, D. Bartolucci with important choral ensembles in Italy and abroad.
He has held various positions during his career: he has served at his village parish Church (1998-2011), at the Pieve of Cascina (2001-5), at the Pieve of Filettole (2005), at the Waldensian Temple, Florence (old Holy Trinity Anglican Church) as Concert organist and Music Advison (2006-10), Official Organist of Corale "S.Genesio", San Miniato (2006-11).
As a recitalist he regularly plays in Italy and abroad and he has given many European and Italian Prémieres of modern and contemporary works such as "Psalm 150'', ''Catechism" and ''Ubi Caritas'' by the american composer Frederick Frahm, ''Passacaglia and Fugue n.2'' by Healey Willan and "Chorale, Cantilena and Finale" by William Lloyd Webber at S.Stefano dei Cavalieri and the "Sonata Op.2" by Herbert Howells at the Basilica of S.Maria Maggiore, Bergamo.
He has been Titular Organist and Director of Music at the National Church of S.Stefano dei Cavalieri in Pisa from October 2009 to June 2015 - where he has been Artistic Director and founder of the national and international recital series at the symphonic Grand Organ - and Assistant Organist at the world-famous Pisa Cathedral from April 2010 to June 2015.
After relocating to Sweden in July 2015, he has been insigned the honorific title of Organist 'ad Perpetuam' at the National Church of S.Stefano dei Cavalieri in Pisa.
He is a graduate from the Högskolan för Scen och Musik in Göteborg where he attended the Master of Fine Arts in Organ and related keyboard instruments under H. Davidsson and J. Speerstra.
During Summer 2015 he has been Praktikant-Assistant Organist at Lundby parish and since October 2015 to August 2017 he har been vik-organist at Tuve-Säve parish, Göteborg. He has also served as Organist at St.Andrew's Anglican Church during May 2016 and as Vik-Organist at Christ the King RC Church, Göteborg, 2015-2017.
In September 2017 Riccardo has been appointed full-time Organist and Master of the Choristers (Vokalensemble) in Karlskoga parish church, where he also runs the lunchtime music serie giving an organ recital every week.
